Safe, legal and ethical practice
Students will need to be reminded of the school's code of conduct relating to the correct and appropriate use of ICTs as well as any relevant legislation.
Basic guidelines that should be observed as a minimum include:
* zero tolerance for cyber bullying
* recognition of all materials that are not the intellectual property of the student
* maintain basic netiquette (courtesy)
* mindful disclosure of personal information
* use all ICT tools as directed and in accordance with their prescribed uses
When creating the docu-drama students will be required to provide their written consent to participate in the film as well as their consent for it to be provided to a production company. Also, any professionals from within the community will be required to provide their written conscent for the collaboration to be recorded. Any participants under eighteen years of age will require the consent of their parent/guardian.
