Unit overview

Introducing Shakespeare as a unit...
During this unit of work students will analyse various Shakespearean plays including the analysis of language, context, and characters.
The unit has been developed to assist students with language use and understanding, context of texts, portrayal of characters, and modernisation and re-use of ideas. Furthermore, the students are asked to create a final product using real-world information, resources and techniques making it more meaningful to the students.

* skype, email, podcasts, etc for collaboration with professionals within the community - preferably a recordable method would be used so that students can access the information at a later date
* 'storyboard tools' or similar
* camera, microphones, etc. for filming docu-drama
* 'moviemaker' or similar for editing docu-drama
